Community Development & Education

We want local people to engage with a range of social, educational, health and cultural activities and other initiatives within a wider community. We want to encourage people to have a more positive active role in their local community. We seek to promote active citizenship and volunteering within the community and empower people so that they can challenge, participate and embrace ownership and responsibility in dealing with local issues. We aim to create and maintain a vibrant area where there is respect for diversity and where people want to live, work and visit.

We aim to encourage and promote local residents to participate in activities that improve community life such as community clean ups, removing graffiti, summer schemes, family events, older person group, youth activities and training and education courses.

Our adult education classes include:

Level 3 Pearson Health & Social Care Diploma - Family Support.
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Autism
Level 5 CACHE Child Care Learning and Development (Management).
